Terms of Service

These terms govern early-access use of BidShield AI by customers, evaluators, and authorized workspace users.

Last updated: June 10, 2026

BidShield AI is an AI-assisted workflow tool. It does not provide legal advice, cybersecurity certification, government contracting advice, or CMMC certification. Human review is required before relying on any output.

Acceptance

By creating an account, accessing the dashboard, uploading content, starting a checkout session, or otherwise using BidShield AI, you agree to these Terms of Service and the linked trust policies.

Product Purpose

BidShield AI helps users review public solicitations, extract bid-readiness signals, generate draft work products, and organize evidence-tracking metadata. It is a decision-support and workflow tool.

BidShield AI does not replace legal counsel, contracting officers, proposal managers, cybersecurity professionals, CMMC assessors, or other qualified reviewers.

Account Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate account, organization, and billing information.
  • Keep login credentials secure and limit workspace access to authorized users.
  • Review outputs before relying on them for bid, compliance, legal, financial, or cybersecurity decisions.
  • Maintain your own copies of important solicitations, reports, exports, and business records.

Public-Only MVP Boundary

You may not upload, submit, or process classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information, export-controlled technical data, protected customer data, sensitive personal information, malware, or content you are not authorized to use.

If you are unsure whether content is safe to upload, do not upload it. Use a public excerpt, sanitized text, or seek qualified review first.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the service to violate law, procurement rules, security obligations, contract terms, or third-party rights.
  • Do not attempt to bypass authentication, billing, rate limits, tenant boundaries, or security controls.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, resell, or misuse the service without written permission.
  • Do not use AI output as the sole basis for final bid, compliance, legal, or cybersecurity decisions.

Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans, checkout, subscriptions, and payment processing are handled through Stripe. Prices, plan names, and included usage may change over time, but active customers will be shown applicable pricing before payment.

Subscription cancellation, renewal, and refund handling are described in the Refunds and Cancellation policy.

User Content and Outputs

You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant BidShield AI permission to process that content as needed to provide the service, generate outputs, secure the product, troubleshoot issues, and support your account.

AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or based on limited context. You are responsible for validating all outputs against the source solicitation and applicable requirements.

No Government Affiliation or Certification

BidShield AI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Government, DoD, NIST, SAM.gov, the CMMC ecosystem, or any contracting authority. BidShield AI does not certify CMMC compliance or guarantee award outcomes.

Disclaimers and Limits

The service is provided for early-access use on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BidShield AI disclaims warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, procurement success, compliance readiness, and certification outcomes.
